The sad thing is that the average car produced in the US must be priced approximately $1,000 more than the price of that same car produced in Canada. This is after taking currancy differences into account. The difference is due ONLY to the cost of medical benifits.Now let's face it, John. When you walk into that dealership and want your Dodge Hemi, when you see that $1,000 savings, you really don't care that the car was built north of the border. (incidently, both of my Japanese motorcycles were built in Marysville, Ohio). |
