Mine is a 98 and just turned 50,000 miles last night on my way back from Albany so as you can see, I don't beat the heck out of it. Motor Trend doesn't like the Windstar or Freestar. The only problems I've had were related to sensors. I had a wheel speed sensor fail causing the ABS not to operate and 2 sensors in the transmission failed causing it to downshift at random times. Neither repair was excessively expensive. All in all it meets my needs. I can trailer a bike with it and it holds all the grandkids with room to spara. |
