It is interesting to note that many brands which are identified as "American" (ex.Dodge trucks) are actually produced elsewhere, while traditionally "foreign" brands (ex. Honda motorcycles) actually have substantial American content. However, I beleive that the engines on those motorcycles is still made in mother Japan. Either way, it is hoped that America can maintain a high enough standard of living to justify this badly needed foreign investment. I am not optomistic. |
