The sad thing is that the average car produced in the US must be priced approximately $1,000 more than the price of that same car produced in Canada. This is after taking currancy differences into account. The difference is due ONLY to the cost of medical benifits.

Health costs in America wouldn't be so high if we didn't insist on prolonging life in all circumstances, even when quality of life and chances of long-term survival are zero.
