Yet you want Israel, towards whom the residents are hostile, to just walk in and arbitrarily start building infrastructure without consulting with the central authority?Yet another straw man hopelessly ripped to shreds. That's like having the Chinese travel over to California and start building power plants, highways and aqueducts without speaking to the city, state, and federal governments first. I don't think anyone is proposing that. More like, China offers to build power plants, schools, and maybe a high speed rail network and people accept that offer. If the locals and landowners agree to the construction, the government would have a hard time stopping it without making themselves into bigger villains than China. |
