a. Resources are finite. It's the reason there even is an economy.

b. I don't care. I don't feel like lowering my quality of life to benefit another. I don't feel especially altruistic.

c. Too bad. Most of the people who did that are dead.

d. Jamaica had a lower level of technological development before they even knew the other existed, and it would likely still be true had Europeans never colonized the Americas. I agree about Guatemala and Iran.

And that is the better solution, helping to build up those countries rather than allowing their dregs to come here.
