These principles are all but meaningless. Everyone has different opinions about what these things are and how we should go about obtaining them.E.g. we want liberty but every law places a restriction on my liberty. That "all men are created equal" is not given as a fact. It depends on a pre-conceived philosophy that must be based on something else. |
