I can just imagine the outcries over "socialized medicine" if it is government sponsored versus the private sector like under PPACA. Where is the money going to come from for these healthcare programs? The Republicans are not going to pass an extension of Medicare to cover this and it would further burden the program because you are dealing with a high risk pool (low income or older demographic)
