Girls flew to Puerto Rico. Low income families were more likely to be religious and not seek an abortion. They made babies. By the time I was sexually active, everyone wore a rubber and girls took the pill. Most in my circle had a sense of responsibility and hope and did not want an unwanted kid. There are too many incentives for low income girls to have kids. |
