They just got tired of flying to Puerto Rico to do so.They didn't have to fly anywhere. They just needed a reference and the money to use a doctor or qualified nurse "of good reputation" to perform the abortion in a sanitary environment and in a medically acceptable manner with no future adverse health effects. THIW for those who could afford one. Low-income women or their families or boyfriend didn't have that option and so they went to the Kermit Gosnells of their time. |
