Everything you said is true but there is a fine line between "freedom of speech" and bullying. The turtle does a very careful balancing act along that line. He often steps over the line just enough to get on people's nerves, but not enough to get sued over.I basically stopped posting here because of him. Trying to fight him on this site was an exercise in futility. Yeah, making the "Turtle Soup" series of videos was fun but in the end was just a waste of time and effort. Since I did not have the thick skin required to stay on this site so I made the only decision that I could make under those circumstances. And quite honestly he is not the only problem on this site. Contrary to what the turtle believes, public fora are not all like this site. Other sites like Five Borough Transit are a lot more civil and welcoming. Some of the art and photography sites that I belong to will get you banned for a lot less, and even have bans on any discussion of a political or religious nature - wonder why :) Extreme moderation is not always a good thing but neither is anarchy. This site is pure anarchy. |

Asking about the status of 9 subway cars should not provoke anyone. And if it does, I really have no time to tolerate non-sensical, illogical and obtuse reactions. The person is hiding in plain sight without a reason to do so. |

And when you finally do ask your quesiton here, you should include the results of your previous research steps that I outlined. but I really don't think it was as awful as all that.Thank you.
