What is so "rabid" about what Brian (TS) said? That you could have Googled the information you were looking for yourself?
Thank you, but that's not what I said. I said: "Have you checked a certain all-encompassing website of NYC Subway knowledge? I did a quick google search and found all the info you are looking for on that website."

I think his response was somewhat mean-spirited
I disagree. I think it is mean spirited to ask questions that can be easily found elsewhere. Why should you make others do the research for you? How many people are going to know immediately off the top of their head which R-110B cars are in which yards? Most people who are willing to answer the question are going to go to the same public source that he could have gone to. So why make everyone else do his work for him? He should learn that before you post something here, you should first check the obvious places/websites and if you still can't find it, then do a Google search, of both the whole web and of this forum in general. Only after coming up with nothing, or with information of uncertain credibility, would you then ask your question here. And when you finally do ask your quesiton here, you should include the results of your previous research steps that I outlined.

but I really don't think it was as awful as all that.
Thank you. And in light of the fact that it wasn't mean spirited at all, my response was not at all awful.
