What is interesting about the Culver single tracking is that in the early 1960s when the modified Lo-Vs were operating there the shuttle single tracked on the NORTHBOUND track. I would imagine that the reason for that was so that the S/B track could be completely replaced in preparation for its eventual use as the only track in service. |
