By the time I first rode it (1962/3), it single-tracked from the middle track on the lower level of 9th Av. and stopped on the southbound track at Ft. Hamilton and 13th Av. The track between 9th Av. and Ft. Hamilton was one continuous track with no connections to any other tracks. There was still a switch to the northbound track between 13th Av. and Ditmas, but the northbound track itself dead-ended between Ft. Hamilton and the tunnel entrance. IIRC, it was running BMT standards.Bob |
