Yeah, there's some major changes that took place on Woodhaven Blvd. Now it's a big wide strip from start to finish both ends!! Anyway, I'd love to do a walkthru of the Rockaway Branch from the Rego Park - Whitepot Junction to the Ozone Park MTA cut-off. I've taken pictures of various spots along the route but during the summer season the ROW is almost impossible to navigate given the virtual Rainforest state that its taken. I was told by a friend that lives in Rego Park that the best time to do it is during the cold weather season when the overgrowth dies off a bit. It's such a shame that most of the stations along the route with the exception of Woodhaven & Ozone Park are totally gone with no traces left. I might just give it a try. |
