And some time ago, it seems that the idea was also raised within NYCT, according to all the best media leaks; just you were too busy being a pompous ass to notice it. Are you so stupid you don't understand how a leak works? Your boss tells a journalist. Or a blogger -- it's the same difference these days. He daren't tell all his underlings, else they would know that it was he who leaked it. Zman is 100% right in saying that this board concluded that the consolidation a done deal because he mentioned that NYCT was considering the idea. Nothing could be farther than the truth. I can assure the board that NYCT is considering lots of stuff that you and I haven't even thought of. They are a lot smarter than we give them credit for. Transit operations planning isn't rocket science. Even when people on this board have no information, if they're not off on some tangent, the tendency is toward accuracy. |
