There would be outrage though. Jamaica is still a major transfer point. Currently that is between Brooklyn trains, Penn trains, and HP Ave trains. With ESA, many people on Penn bound trains will want GC trains, and many people on GC trains will want Penn. In addition, people will still want Brooklyn for Lower Manhattan access. All that happens at Jamaica, and you can't take that away. |
