I'm embarassed to say that happened to me once. Usually I couldn't care less if a defendant won or lost in a traffic case but in this case I remember the defendant was being very vocal and a real jerk at the scene so I really wanted to win. Unfortunately I started reading the wrong summons from my memo book and gave an afternoon time when the summons was in the morning. The defendant mentioned that the time was wrong and the judge said not guilty. |
