A friend of mine once beat a ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign because the officer started reading the wrong notes. The officer started telling the judge that my friend passed a red light - at which time my friend interrupted and said "but the ticket is for a stop sign". The judge dismissed the case "in the interest of justice" because the cop could not get his story straight.You never know what might happen by showing up and taking a chance ;-) |
