Yes, you seem to be incorrect. The law does NOTHING to prevent those 12-9's from happening (the people who goof off between cars and fall). As such, you are wrong - the law is not because of too many 12-9's, but is instead because of too many lawsuits and/or potential for too many lawsuits, and thus they want to reduce their liability. If they wants to save people's lives, they would lock the doors and install a remote unlocking mechanism, as hard as that would be. |
