If that can be done, that would be great and would severely increase flexibility whether the last part of the SAS in lower Manhattan gets built or not. As noted before, I would also include a connector if possibile to the Williamsburg Bridge that would allow for SAS serve from the Broadway Brooklyn line (as suggested before perhaps doing so with such trains going into a three-track 72nd street station that can serve as the terminal for perhaps a J or M train going uptown on second avenue. |
