A SAS link to the Rutgers tunnel would also solve the question of rush hour express service on the South Brooklyn IND while freeing up the (V) or the (C) to use the Willy B where a direct connection to Midtown would have wider systemwide benefits. I would personally prefer it go down Ave C since that area has lousy subway service. I would have it connect to Rutgers St near E. Broadway. |
