Nobody's going to use Richmond Hill when it's within walking distance of 121st Street on the J. The main problem with stations on that branch is that the service is spotty and slow, and it's faster in most cases to either to take a bus or subway to Jamaica to catch a train eastward or go to the nearest subway to get direct service to Manhattan than to go play the game of LIRR + ferry + bus (or long walk) to the nearest subway in Midtown. |
