My Favorite Example, Vancouver:"Translink provides up to 90 minutes of travel for each cash fare or Faresaver ticket." Same ticket is good for buses, Seabus, and Skytrain. Seabus and skytrain is proof of purchase by showing it. Buses have a farebox. If I get on the bus after 88 minutes, whose going to know it expired while I'm on the bus? Skytrain is 39 minutes from end to end I think. Seabus is 12 minutes. 51 minutes total not including wait etc leaves 39 minutes. I think it's probably possible for your ticket to expire mid-journey, and if I'm supposed to get off and get another ticket for a few minutes, with the loopholes, I think it's rediculous. |
