Wow ... ummm ... never said "do nothing" ... only said, "here's how it works, don't do anything STUPID." Throughout this past year, I've taken a lot of guff for reminding people that the photo ban was part of a larger policy brought about by politicians at the federal and state levels. That if this mattered, it had to be laid at the feet of people running for all sorts of offices other than mayor or governor. That at that time when politicians were actually VULNERABLE and were ready to pander, folks didn't make a loud noise like Ukrainians. Instead, *I* got blasted for being "off topic." OK, election's over - there's nothing for them to fear now. And only politicians can stop this. I'm sorry, I fail to see how this is now my fault. :-\Immediately following an election is when heads roll and when all the bad chit comes down. Why? Because it's two or four years until the affected can eek retribution against them in the voting booth. And people have the attention span of Sponge Bob - they'll forget all about it in time for the next election. Where was everybody when it MATTERED? :( |
