Been TRYING to tell you guys this since WAY before the election - this move was a done deal this past summer. Try to take photographs anywhere NEAR CSX property (such as a certain streetcar museum where CSX crosses over their tracks) and see what happens. "Photo ban" has been in effect HERE since a couple of weeks after 9/11 and in each case, at tht direction of Department of Homeland Security. That MTA has held off on the "me too" as long as they have is testimony to the bureaucratic inertia at MTA.I took a lot of guff for the past many months over this, so "told you so" ... and no, MTA is NOT going to reconsider. Like any other "public comment" they'll accept the comments but don't expect any changes. And for the rabid who insist that this isn't about Bush, then you can tell yourself that it's all Clinton's fault. Bottom line, sell your camera or go to jail. Nobody wanted to listen, here you are ... :( |
