Thank goodness, in many ways, the business of America IS business. You can make much more money from a freedom-enjoying population than with any other folk. So I think you're under-estimating the strength of the desire of those with lots of money to make lots more. Case in point: SouthWest Airlines is going to open four new gates over at Islip Macarthur Airport. With their own funds. They sure aren't planning for a gloomy world of restrictions and setbacks.As long as we remain a capitalistic society I ain't losing any sleep. Greedy powerful folks are working long hours to ensure I'll be in the right frame of mind to acquire what they're peddling. And they know I don't like to be bugged too much... |
