As a follow-up to this turnout, I find it interesting to view the sattelite photos of that area. You can CLEARLY see the ROW curving out from Atlantic to the present NYCTA Rockaway line going south. It would be interesting to hike in that area and see what of the tunnel portal is left. Anybody do that? |
