If you take a picture from this spot today you will be staring right at a fence. If there is a hole in the fence you will be able to see a yellow school van. Interesting how the LIRR went to the trouble of taking out one of the tracks towards the end. This was taken shortly before the connection was taken OOS and is from Art Huneke's site.
