The "Zephyr" was built by the Edward G. Budd Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Originally it is numbered 7002-8002-9001-8003-7003. In 1937 it was re-numbered to 7029 A, B, C, B1and A1. 1951 – from The Book of Last Runs This is the last full day of operation on the Liberty Bell Limited interurban line between Allentown and Norristown, Pennsylvania. The final round trip is made by car 1006 which departs from Allentown at 11:06 PM and returns from Norristown at 2:41 AM on September 7. 1974 for The Book of Last Runs This will be the final day in service of the New York Central Class P2 Electric Locomotives. These 80 foot long traction behemoths could develop 3000 HP and originally ran on the 17 miles of electrified trackage in Cleveland. P2b # 4630 made in final run from Croton to Grand Central in charge of Amtrak train No 72. 2003 – from The Book of First Runs The multi-level Secaucus Junction station is now fully in operation. The upper level is served by NJT trains to and from Pennsylvania Station. The lower level is served by trains to and from Hoboken Terminal. The lower level had been in limited use since August 4.
