Right after Chrystie, I was standing on the Manhattan-bound platform at 63 Drive watching (in shock and disappointment) train after train of old, dirty, dingy 3-digit R1s and R4s going to Jamaica.

Prior to that, Jamaica Yard had mostly the newer 4-digit R6s and R9s.

The older trains had large one-piece storm-door windows, while the newer cars had split storm-door windows.
