Much as I also hate to see a fully electrified, grade-separated, ROW get abandoned then totally obliterated, there's no hiding the fact that, at the end, the longest those trains got was 2 cars long. The only way it would have been worthwhile now is if it had promoted greater development, in these days where mass transit is popular, but I'm not even sure if the current SIRT does that. |
