even if we were to build or rather re-build a steel industry here there will be almost no workers in the mills.

But our fearless leader says that the purpose of the tariff is to bring back American jobs.

If it's just to raise revenue, it's an extraordinarily inefficient way to do it, and will reduce global prosperity rather than enhance it.
