Posted by G1Ravage on Wed Sep 28 00:33:35 2005 It's gone from the station signs! It's gone from the subway maps! And now, coming to a (6) line strip map near you, it's the black strip of censorship! Gee, you'd think the MTA was trying to HIDE something from us! Yet oddly enough, Jessica Ettinger still thinks East 177th Street exists. On a similar note, the strip maps on the (2)(4)(5) and (6) have now been "covered" by black sticker "replacements" about three or four times now, and it's starting to look rediculous. The black replacements are a good temporary measure, but c'mon! At this point, with the subway system back to "normal" service, and no changes coming for the forseeable future, I'd say it's about time the MTA orders some fresh new strip maps that are up to date. |
