Hello Express Rider (and Dave, and MainR3664)Thanks guys for your appreciation of the link and its material ! Didn't generate much interest here at S/C, tho, but then it is over 100 years old, heh ! Express Rider -- I believe one to maybe 3, Chicago EL Forneys are around saved intact -- one I recall is in a Museum. I have seen photos of it on a track outside the museum -- I may have a copy or two of that one in my photo collection. I don't know of any BRT or IRT Forneys that survived to these times -- other than those sold over 100 years ago to then small railroads in US and I believe some to Europe (China, etc) --- likely long ago also all scrapped. regards - Joe F |
