Hello Express Rider !Here (BELOW 3 PHOTOS) is ONE of the 2 or 3 Forney's saved -- this one is Loco # 9 of the Chicago Lake Street Elevated Railway -- its an 0-4-4 built in 1893 by Rhode Island Loco Works -- its restored and preserved at the St. Louis Museum of Transportation. Its pretty much on the same style and class as a number of Manhattan EL and Brooklyn EL Forney locos. The Museum also has BRT / BMT 1300 Series EL Gate Motor Car # 1365 there also. ![]() ![]() ![]() regards - Joe F |
