I've had family in Woodhaven since the 1940's and not a single person ever called the line by it's number. In fact, I didn't learn of the BMT number system until I discovered nycsubway.org. My parents were married in August 1967, and they left for Las Vegas, where they lived until 1969. My father mentioned that the whole system was unrecognizable when he got back. |
