Except for the 10 R-32s that got Sigma A/C systems, why do you assume that the R-32s got A/C systems that were inferior to the R-42 A/C systems that were installed during GOH?That happens to be a myth. The fact is that the R-42s were designed for A/C and were delivered with A/C when new. Their systems components were replaced during GOH. The R-32, on the other hand was not designed to be equipped with A/C and the car had to be modified to accept an A/C system. Perhaps pipes were not always able to be run in the most efficient way nor were components mounted in the most advantageous position. The car bodies and especially the roofs had to be modified for A/C. It's understandable that the same A/C system in the R-42 might not perform as well in an R-32. |
