I am going to completely dis-agree with the idea that the new South Ferry terminal station was a bad idea to begin with.

There may be arguments about its construction, implementation, protection from storm-water surges, building costs, etc.

All of the above is a very different discussion of whether the new terminal station was a bad idea to begin with. The new terminal station had several advantages and ideas that made it, and continue to make it worthwhile as an idea.
