Interesting, but given the bulk of those riders are from Staten Island going to and from the Ferry, I suspect the MTA may wind up under political pressure to re-open the old South Ferry station as quickly as possible to appease those who are too lazy, have difficulty (for any reason) or otherwise don't want to walk from Rector to the Ferry Terminal and vice versa (also applies to Whitehall, Bowling Green, etc.). |
