So, could the LIRR have used the NJT design?Which design came first? I have seen the NJT cars in the Sunnyside yard area, and on the New Haven branch for "Foot ball trains". Could that design have served on the LIRR? Granted LIRR's C3s would not navigate the Hudson Tunnels. avid |
