I found the photos that were taken a the end of tunnel wall south of Euclid interesting. Little to no visible steel dust "soot" on the walls, compared to the rest of that line. I wonder if the photographer had a valid track safety card, approved PPE, and operating under point to point flagging rules and escorted by construction flagging C/R's (Assuming a valid NYCT contractor).

If not, the only Chain Gang might be that of a Transit adjudication hearing official downtown. Anyone contemplating a first hand investigation of this urban legend physically at the tunnel wall. "Trains operate on any track, in any direction, and at any time."
