Since its only documentable use is till 1952, I'm surprised that the rails signals and stop arms were there as late as 1962 after the switches had been removed. One would think that MOW would have removed at least the signal equipment for use elsewhere as needed. What is even more interesting is why the signals near the bulkhead on the "mainline" associated with 76 St were not removed for the same purpose. It's almost as if they were left there purposely to assist in providing some circumstantial evidence of the existence of the station shell. |
