I would spot check the people who fit the description of suspects who are committing the crimes in that area. Are you sure about that because statistics seems to prove otherwise. I would love to live in the fantasy world you live in. Look up drug arrest more whites do drugs but the vast majority of drug arrest and convictions are black. Hell in New York City they just stopped doing stop and frisk guess who was the VAST majority getting stopped and frisked. Maybe the only reason this happens is not SOLELY bc they are black as you mentioned but it seems to affect blacks the most. Of course nothing will change bc police will never admit to a problem for change to occur don't believe us look at the stats yourself. |

So the solution is to treat a whole population like criminals civil rights be damned. Then folk wonder why there is a lack of trust of police in poor communities of color. I will say do I think police officers walk out the door and say I'm going to be racist today, no I don't, do I think ALL police officer's are bad? no, but I do think there are some bad apples. And I do think there is a double standard on how different people are dealt with in similar situations. People of color aren't fed up for no reason at all. |
