Discretion is different than selective enforcement in LEO terms. I personally would go for the fastest car. I would spot check the people who fit the description of suspects who are committing the crimes in that area. As for the last scenario, I would let them ALL go, unless they're an asshole so then I can use the joint in their pocket as a tool for summons/arrest. |
