There are bars that won't be pouring them.Others will. There are some that won't be purchasing, and there are some that will. As I always say...these boycotts are nonensene, and don't work, I generally do the opposite just to show how stupid they are (for example, would purchase Chick-fil-A, just as I would buy a Samual Adams. But I can guarantee the same idiots that would "boycot Chick-fil-A", are the same ones that would say "I will buy Sam Adams because of this". I love it. I just did the comments as a test, to see of our friends on the left would react to these nonsensical boycotts. Some did EXACTLY what I expected in reference to their usual hypocrisy. It worked like a charm. :) That said, in any event, as for me, I hate Heineken, and I don't particularly care for Guinness, so I wouldn't have been drinking either anyway. That also said, I never claimed I was giving up Sam Adams, as I like Sam Adams, and this nonsense wouldn't stop me from purchasing (as much as I think they should have stayed out of the issue, just as Chick-Fil-A should have stayed out of the issue. I really don't give a damn what a company's "position" is on "gay issues", or any other social issue. It's their job to sell a product, not get involved in such. |

They'd allow a gay person or group to march without identifying as gay, but not as. A group based on being gay could then not identify itself. That makes no sense. We're not talking a float of twerkers here. That would be in bad taste for this parade. |

Clearly the parade has grown to the point where it is untenable to attempt to have it on the same date as a sporting event. It's easier to move the sporting event than the parade. But I guess Tom Ricketts doesn't mind the revenue he would other wise he would be making that day, but the area's buisnesses I'm sure are pissed on the revenue they'll be losing that day. I'm taking my buisness to Milwaukee that day. I'm sure they'll really miss your "buisness" when there are thousands of people going into the city for the parade. |

Chicago can't host a parade and baseball game? How long has the stadium been there and how many other parades have been hosted during baseball games in the city? This is nothing more than LGBT's flexing their muscles and riding the momentum of being the "in" civil rights movement of the millennium. |
