Posted by G1Ravage on Wed Jul 3 11:21:09 2013, in response to Zimmerman Trial, posted by daNd124 on Mon Jul 1 23:47:17 2013. Okay, this was funny. The State tried to interview a witness live on Skype. The Prosecutor's Skype name was visible on TV, and random people starting calling into him, their names and avatars jamming up the screen and appearing on TV. It started with just one guy every minute or so. Then more and more starting calling in once they realized what was going on.I wonder though, could that be construed as obstruction of justice? As funny as it is, they intentionally interfered with court proceedings. |

We already know from his "friend's" testimony that Martin wasn't scared at all that night, but pissed off that a "cracker" was following him. Martin approached Zimmerman, angry, yelling, "You got a problem, motherfucker???" But please, continue spouting your bullshit without acknowledging facts in this case. |

Had he stayed in his truck this would not have happened. It is my hope this will create a flurry of new laws that peg responsibility onto gun owners and gun users. Maybe they'll think twice about puling the trigger if doing so will likely land them in prison or bankruptcy. Limiting stand your ground laws to one's home would be an excellent start. Vigilantes should not be permitted to wander the streets, kill and walk. |

He was legally a child and therefore Edwards! is technically correct, the best kind of correct. This is why the whole hard limit of age≥18y=adult, age<18y≠adult is stupid. Had Martin killed Zimmerman, he likely would have been tried as an adult. I know that children younger than that have been convicted as adults in Florida, and in at least one state (New York), 17 year olds are automatically treated as adults. |
