He was legally a child and therefore Edwards! is technically correct, the best kind of correct.This is why the whole hard limit of age≥18y=adult, age<18y≠adult is stupid. Had Martin killed Zimmerman, he likely would have been tried as an adult. I know that children younger than that have been convicted as adults in Florida, and in at least one state (New York), 17 year olds are automatically treated as adults. |
