How many rock stations are in the NYC area? On Long Island we have NONE. We have 104.3 (classic), 102.3 (classic), and 103.9 (classic). We get 99.1 which is a semi Classic and 90's Rock station from Connecticut, but that doesn't count, as it's from Connecticut, and doesn't make it into the City.

NYC has 104.3 (classic), 101.9 which is somewhat a rock station I guess, but plays a lot of classic stuff, and 92.3 plays ustin Timerlake type of stuff.

Thank God for Satelite Radio, as I gave up on FM radio once 92.3 KRock went down, it was the last Rock station in NYC. 101.9 "tried" to fill the void.

So again. How many Rock stations are in NYC? Compare that to other genres of music in NYC stations.
