Would it make a lot of sense for the picture to show Judah Macabee in battle gear and claim that he was a myth?No, because the Maccabees really did defeat the Greeks, leading to the Hasmonean dynasty over Judea. It would make more sense for the picture to show the Menorah, suggesting that the miracle of the oil lasting for eight days was a myth. I also believe that Jesus walked the earth and had a loyal following. I also think he said many great and wise things and was a good and noble man in a very bad time for the Jewish people. I just don't believe he was any more divine than Moses or King David. Sorry. IMO, Jesus intended for something similar to Chabad, and it was Paul who started the Yechi movement. |
